For the purpose of generating an income for Sailors, our crew has put together four unique sailing projects. Each of the four sailing projects were created for the specific purpose of offering jobs to the Sailors of Cape Cod.
1) The first of our four sailing projects is Cape Cod Marine Consignment™. For the purpose of generating an income for Sailors, we offer employment to the Sailor at Cape Cod’s only Marine Consignment Store , our Retail Store located at 200 Rt 28 in West Yarmouth.
2) The second of our four sailing projects is Cape Cod SailWear™. For the purpose of generating an income for Sailors, we offer employment to the Sailor a brand-new line of nautical clothing. They’re bright, comfortable and long-wearing — and made entirely from spinnaker sails! Our mission is to serve the nautical community with high quality and uniquely designed apparel proudly handmade by local artists on Cape Cod, labeled “Cape Cod Sail Wear”.
3) The thirth of our four sailing projects is Cape Cod Sailing Vacations™. For the purpose of generating an income for our sailors, drawing on sailors from Cape Cod Marine Consignment™ and Cape Cod SailWear™ to act as ‘Hosts’, the Cape Cod Sailing Vacation project is Cape Cod’s only ‘Sailing Destination Vacation Package’. For the visiting vacationer, the entire week is sailing focused from the moment we pick up them up at the airport. Our sailors, acting as ‘Hosts’, get paid for taking the vacationers to local Cape Cod waters for sailing, providing sailing lessons, and giving sailing workshops.
4) The third of our four sailing projects is The Café Art Coffee House Gallery™: THE SAILOR’S HANG OUT. The Café Art Coffee House Gallery™ is ‘Good Coffee, Good Art, and Good Music on Island Time and in the Spirit of Aloha’®, Cape Cod’s true make-you-feel-good home for everyone who loves Sailing. It is The Café Art Coffee House Gallery™ where Sailors who join the iStand Up For Cape Cod™ movement are rewarded with the offering of a job to work at The Café Art Coffee House Gallery™, and a very public place to find a chance to crew.
